The Spinosaurus in Jurassic Park III stands out as one of the franchise's most aggressive and persistent predators. Unlike the Tyrannosaurus rex from the previous films, this dinosaur is relentless, stalking our survivors across Isla Sorna. LEGO is now recreating the events of Jurassic Park III with the new Spinosaurus Dinosaur Escape set, which comes in at 820 pieces. The creature's design emphasizes its crocodile-like snout and towering sail, giving it a distinct and intimidating silhouette.
LEGO was sure to try and recreate that design here, as it breaks through one of the containment gates to pursue its next meal. The Spinosaurus will be fully articulated and stand 6" tall by 14" long. To make things even more interesting, LEGO was sure to include minifigures of Billy and Dr. Alan Grant! It is nice to see some love for these classic Jurassic Park films, and collectors can already pre-order this new set right now on the LEGO Store for $74.99. The Spinosaurus Dinosaur Escape is set to release in August 2026.
