In the following featurette, Judkins, Pike, executive producer Mike Weber, executive producer & writer Justine Juel Gillmer, and makeup effects designer Nick Dudman unveil some of the meticulous artistry and technology that went into creating the creatures – a true mix of practical prosthetics & cutting-edge visual effects. In addition, viewers get a chance to check out the stunt work that went into the intense battle scenes with the Trollocs and more:

It's also been confirmed that Meera Syal (The Sandman) has been tapped for the role of Verin Mathwin, an Aes Sedai and a member of the Brown Ajah (who view learning & knowledge as the real path to power).
Isis Mussenden is aboard as costume designer, with Karen E. Goulekas serving as the visual effects supervisor. Produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios and based on Robert Jordan's novels, The Wheel of Time will launch in over 200 countries and territories. Sanaa Hamri (Shameless, Empire) is joining the team as both executive producer & director for Season 2, with Uta Briesewitz set to direct the first two episodes.
