Followed up
Don't have time for questions. But, just so everyone is clear, I do not work for DC Comics.
I work for the organization (ReedPOP) that puts NYCC together. However, not being that far away from DC Offices, there's a lot of extremely credible gossip that floats around. I have it on extremely good authority that this list is accurate.
Oh some bits might be right, some are quite obvious assumptions to make, some have already been half announced, a few things seem to be tapped from Bleeding Cool rumours, such as a Superman weekly or Tom Taylor working on Doom Patrol, or even Gail Simone and Ethan Van Sciver's long rumoured and denied involvement with Plastic Man but…
Basically I've confirmed first hand with a number of the people mentioned that, their bits at least, are not true. And have not been able to confirm with anyone that any one single announcement is true.
Also, they don't mention Francis Manapul and Brian Buccellato on Detective Comics which I'd put money on. This, and many other delightful things will be announced at NYCC. New books, creative changes and more. I may have a few more to mention before then myself. But in case anyone forwards you the list above I thought I'd perform a little pre emptive strike.
So there we go. Night all…
UPDATE: And just in case anyone thought the list was in some way accurate…
