Alan Moore's Cover For Jerusalem Sees Angels Playing Pool Over Northampton

Coming in September… for a very large book indeed. And Alan Moore has created this cover for his second prose novel, Jerusalem.

It appears to encompass, birth, marriage, divorce, death and angels playing billiards, in a perspective-warping scene with a man flapping his arms that resembles both a madman trying to fly and Leonardo Da Vinci's study of man, all laid out across what The Village Voice once thought Alan Moore called "the terrorist streets of Northampton".

It's all very William Blake, isn't it?

Published September 16th in the US by Liveright and 15th September in the UK by Knockabout Books.
