Carmine Di Giandomenico Drawing 56 Pages In 48 Hours Right Now!

oudeis

Odieus, a modern day reinterpretation of Homer's Ulysses by Carmine Di Giandomenico was first published in 2004 in a number of volumes. But it has long awaited its conclusion.

These days Giandomenico is very busy indeed, working for American  comic book publishers on titles such as the newly rebirthed Flash comic.

He really doesn't have the time to draw a 56 page final volume. All he has is two spare days.

So that is what he is doing right now, and aiming to get into the Guinness Book of World Records as a result. Drawing 56 pages in 48 hours at the Teramo Heroes event in Italy, finishing tomorrow.

2544

Each will be drawn with a pencil base with a watercolour finish and markers. The comic will then be published by the book's original publishers, saldapress but will also be displayed for a year at the  Civic Art Gallery.

You can watch his process here…
