Remaking The DC Universe – And John Constantine (SPOILERS)
It's not just the Marvel Universe that is being remade today, DC Rebirth continues kicking that can as well. So Titans #4 continues having Abra Kadabra as the man who took the Titans timelines away, but has a Watchmen watch to prove it. And a version of the future he is changing – just as Dr Manhattan did to the present.
Though Flash #9, naturally, reveals that all got sorted out. And there is someone behind his machinations.
However, you know who just popped up in the CW DC Universe?
Looks like, as predicted by the back page of DC Rebirth and, frankly, Bleeding Cool, a bunch of other folks are on the way….
So, there you go. Jay Garrick, the Golden Age Flash, and key figure in the Justice Society Of America.
The remaking of the DC Rebirth is also prominent in Suicide Squad #6 – is this another description of the creation of the New 52 which brought us the Black Vault? Is this tied in with Mr Oz perhaps?
While the New 52 Lois Lane lays the biggest guilt trip on the Pre-52 Lois Lane going. It looks like the first Superwoman knew her fate…
Emotional pressure across the dimensional divide.
In Teen Titans #1, Damian Wayne throws some shade on the Scott Lobdell Teen Titans years…
And if you remember the John Constantine/Zatanna relationship from Justice League Dark in the New 52…
Well, thanks to today's Sixpack And Dog Welder #3, complete with Steve Dillon cover, it's returned to a more… base form.Though remember, this is a John Constantine who has been rebirthed a little too far.
And knows it.This is the DC Universe. This is what you want!
