Valiant Rolls Out Massive Slate of X-O Manowar Promo Merchandidse – Including Boxcutters!

It's obvious that Valiant is putting a lot of firepower behind their new Matt Kindt-written X-O Manowar series. From a rotating cast of five prominent artists to committing to the first year of release dates in advance and even a metal variant cover – yes, real metal – and more, the publisher is clearly gunning to make a splash when the X-O Manowar #1 arrives on March 22nd.

And now they're getting retailers in on the game.

This week Valiant unveiled one of the biggest packages of promotional items in recent memory in support of X-O Manowar #1 – a package that will include:

-50-copy bundles of a new preview book with advance pages, costume designs, interview content, and commentary

-a massive 6' foot standee featuring Lewis LaRosa's cover art at close to life size

-full-size 24"x36" wall posters

-a 2017 wall calendar highlighting the aforementioned "X-O Manowar Wednesday" release dates and featuring art by LaRosa, Tomas Giorello, Clayton Crain, Kaare Andrews, Kenneth Rocafort, and more.

-Matt Kindt section signs to promote the New York Times best-selling writers' wares, Valiant and otherwise

-box cutters. Be careful.
