Deathstroke To Become A Superhero And Start His Own Team

Earlier in this week, we told you that DC comic book Deathstroke was to move from twice-monthly to monthly from July and undergo a bold new direction.

Well, this is certainly bold.

I'm told that Deathstroke is going to start his own superhero team.

I guess if it's good enough for Batman, it's good enough for Deathstroke. It's been a while since he's done anything like lead a superteam, and it does appear to suggest changes for the character. Even bold ones. No details yet but gut instinct suggests that the team's abilities and powers may be weapons based.

Christopher Priest, however, is going nowhere…and he does have a reputation for writing superheroes in a way that challenges the genre. Worth keeping your eye out for.
