So Whatever Happened Between Shatterstar and Rictor? Shatterstar #1 Spoilers….

Shatterstar and Rictor were two mutants who hung around the -Force comic books and spinoffs over the years. Their relationship went from overly close friends.

To unspoken angst.

To getting on with it.

But of late, there was trouble in paradise it seems, over in Iceman.

Which was resolvednotresolved in a subsequent issue…

Today's Shatterstar certainly addresses the issue, as he works in a home for the dimensionally-displaced. And it's a definite break up. For now, at least,

Especially when there seems to be other options on the table.

Don't leave me this way…. oh wait, no, it was the Communards who performed that. Not Erasure. Shame that would have been a clever tie-in.
