Absolute Carnage vs. Deadpool #1 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, by Frank Tieri and Marcelo Ferreira, celebrating Spider-Man's birthday. Wait, what?

The recap page sets the stage for this super-mega-crossover event tie-in.

And then we join Spider and Deadpool, a flight in progress.

And being chased by Spidey's entire rogues gallery.

And Spidey is not pleased with Deadpool for some reason.

It turns out that Deadpool wanted to do something nice for Spider-Man, so he threw him a surprise party and invited all of his villains.

And also J. Jonah Jameson, who is actually Spidey's friend nowadays, but what does continuity really matter in a super-mega-crossover event tie-in?

Absolute Carnage vs. Deadpool #1 is in stores next Wednesday.
