Alex Ross' Cover for Kurt Busiek's Tooth And Claw #2

And now Alex Ross is giving Kurt Busiek a hand with a variant cover to Tooth And Claw #2, announced now to help push retailers' orders as the Final Order Cut-Off date comes closer. Expect to find this book by Busiek, Benjamin Dewey, Jordie Bellaire and John Roshell on next week's Advance Reorders chart as a result…

Ross says,

"The world in TOOTH & CLAW is kind of a quasi-medieval fantasy, joined with classical design….That made me think of paintings like The Raft of the Medusa, and I wanted to capture that feeling, with the characters and situations from the series. Although really, the only reference I had was the Pogues album, Rum, Sodomy & The Lash, so in a way, that was my reference and my inspiration."
