When Brian Bendis Lampshades Superman's Stupidity in Superman #8 (Spoilers)
For a little while, Bleeding Cool has been trying to point out that Superman, knowing all he does, really shouldn't have let his returned-from-the-dead-and-genocidal father Jor-El take his and Lois' son Jonathan Kent on an intergalactic journey. In doing so ageing him seven years, and giving most of his life's memories so far away from his parents.
It seemed an obvious problem to everyone, except Superman and Lois Lane.
Well, today in Superman #8, Lois Lane realises.
And so does Superman.
You know, Brian Bendis, lampshading the problem doesn't make it any less weird…
Still with Batman being a terrible detective and Flash not realising that a) Wally West was dead and b) that Batman and Catwoman weren't married, and Wonder Woman not realising she could be killed where she stood by someone she is underwhelmed by, there's a lot of people carrying the stupid ball in DC Comics today…
What was that, Jonathan?
Has Jonathan forgotten how to repeat numbers back now? And did no one notice? It's like he's forgotten how to say numbers now that he's been away.
Or even English. I mean, like I can lortgin talk…
