David F Walker… Not Writing Flash for DC Comics

While today Bleeding Cool is running a number of DC Comics gossip picked up in the bars of New York Comic Con last week, and in the process pointing out a few similar pieces that all came true, it is worth underlining that we do not get ten out of ten. Generally, we get around nine out of ten, And here's that tenth one.

Earlier in the year, when we were announcing Grant Morrison and Liam Sharp on The Green LanternKelly Sue DeConnick on Aquaman, G Willow Wilson on Wonder Woman, Patrick Tomasi on Detective Comics, we also announced that David F Walker would be working on a Flash comic book – though not the ongoing book – as one of a number of talents invited onto books through Brian Bendis.

At New York Comic Con it was announced that Walker would be working on a new title for Bendis' Wonder Comics line through DC Comics called Naomi. But not it seems Flash – or even Kid Flash. And Walker posted as much on Instagram.

What that means for our report that Brian Azzarello would be taking on Suicide Squad, we have no clue. Will that be one of the nine out of ten – or not?
