Derek Charm to Draw Unbeatable Squirrel #33 Instead of Erica Henderson
Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #33, the latest comic starring Steve Ditko's co-creation, will arrive in stores without the artist most associated with her these days, Erica Henderson. Henderson announced back in March that she was leaving Squirrel Girl to pursue creator-owned work, though she would continue to draw covers.
Instead the comic will be drawn by Derek Charm, the Uncle Scrooge artist who also took over Henderson's art role on Jughead for Archie Comics. He will be making his Marvel Comics debut.
Look for it on June 13th, along with a Father's Day promotion. Here's the new solicitation.
UNBEATABLE SQUIRREL GIRL #33

• NONE! They have NO guarantees, which is too bad for them but great for YOU, the reader! And it's especially great for you, the reader who is presumably interested in stories of SUPER HERO CONFLICT and SUPER-POWERED FIGHTS!!!
• All that PLUS Brain Drain, Koi Boi, Chipmunk Hunk AND MORE await you in an issue so astounding, so filled with adventure, that we could ONLY call it "The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Issue 33"!
