Filing Away Bill & Ted Go To Hell's Subscription Variant Covers
Last month, we broke the news that Boom! Studios' new Bill & Ted mini-series was going to be called Bill & Ted Go To Hell. Written by the Imagine Agents team of Brian Joines and Bachan, it launches in February.
've received word that Boom! will be offering a subscription cover variant for the four-issue mini-series, and we've got the exclusive reveal right here. Each feature an album cover theme since Bill & Ted's band, the Wyld Stallyns, are a central plot point of their story. While the main covers of the mini-series will be illustrated by the up-and-coming Jamal Campbell, the subscription covers feature this stellar lineup.
Issue #1 (Feb) – Logan Faerber (BLADE)
Issue #2 (Mar) – Alexis Ziritt (SPACE RIDERS)
Issue #3 (Apr) – Conor Nolan (NEVERBOY)
Issue #4 (May) – Daniel Warren Johnson (QUAKE)
Nolan pays homage to the Ramones with his cover, while it looks like Johnson honours The Beastie Boys.
As you may or may not know, subscription covers are available to those who have the series on their pull list/standing order at their local comic book store. They may be pre-ordered only at the Initial Order stage, and are not available for order at the Final Order Cutoff stage.
Therefore, to ensure your retailer gets you each of these subscription covers, let them know to add Bill & Ted Go To Hell on your pull list, and they can order this variant for you.
Initial orders for February books close this Christmas weekend, so call/email/Tweet/ your retailer by then.
