I wonder what the Hasbro booth is going to be looking like at San Diego Comic-Con.
After all, why pay hundred of thousands to put up a booth at a show… when you can do the show yourself?
HASCON FANmily, taking place in Rhode Island this September will feature all manner of Hasbro brands. Not just con-bait like Transformers, G.I. Joe, Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons and My Little Pony, but also Mr Potato Head,Monopoly, Play-Doh, Monopoly and Nerf .
There will also be a presence for IDW's licensing partners Disney, Marvel, Sesame Street and Star Wars.
Which means they get to invite Stan Lee. Probably his last (and first) HASCon appearance.
And other related guests…
Tickets for the three-day HASCON FANmily event will take place from September 8th to the 10th at the Rhode Island Convention Center and Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, R.I are available now, with tickets from $60 for kids and $165 for an adult for the weekend…
And prices go up to $600 for the VIP experience…
And if you want to get a table, that works too… in fact, for two adults it might make more sense for ease of access to book a $350 table in Artists Alley whether they are artists or not.
I think we can expect IDW to be pretty present as well…
