The new rebootish comic book version of Buffy The Vampire Slayer has seen Xander Harris turned into a vampire by Drusilla, with Buffy seeming doing what she needs to do to save him. Even if that means coming into conflict with Angel. But given that her friend has vamped up, does that give her a greater understanding or empathy with other vampires, including those who have also been recently turned? Not a bit of it. If anything it makes it worse…
