John Layman To Announce A New DC Comic At NYCC

John-Layman-photo-350x234At Bleeding Cool, we're all big fans of John Layman. Chew is a book that we keep under our pillows for when we think we're alone.

Of late, Layman has also been writing DC Comics' Detective Comics, a return to the publisher he was once fired from for speaking out of turn on the internet.

It doesn't seem to affect how he speaks on the internet though.

And it seems like things have been going swimmingly because, while staying on Detective Comics, we understand he's currently writing another DC comic book, which will be announced at NYCC.

I do hope it's Bat-Cow. So I can do lots of "chewing the cud" jokes.
