Learn to Write Comics With Cecil C Castellucci in London

Cecil C. Castellucci, musician and novelist began writing comic books for DC with The P.L.A.I.N. Janes in 2007, and has followed with Shade The Changing Girl, Sensation Comics, Green Lantern, recently launched Female Furies, is taking over Batgirl in July with a Snow White adaptation from Dark Horse soon.

She also has teaching experience, speaking regularly at both schools and universities alike. And so in London this June, she is running a Comic Book Writing Workshop at Orbital Comics, just off Leicester Square, for those both looking to hone their comics writing skills, or just starting out.

Tickets are £15 for the evening and the event begins after hours at 7pm. Castellucci will also be running a signing at the store from 6pm, open to all.

Tickets are limited, I am told they are still available, but experience tells me these usually sell out fairly quickly as the date gets closer. By the time we add this to Things To Do in London If You Like Comics: June 2019 they will probably all be gone. So I thought I'd get in early…
