Lion Forge's Catalyst Prime To Definitely Launch On Free Comic Book Day, With Christopher Priest (UPDATE)
We thought this was happening. And now it's confirmed. The new superhero universe line from Lion Forge, showrun by Joe Illidge, is to launch on Free Comic Book Day 2017, that's May 6th to you and me.
And that first issue, Catalyst Prime: The Event is by Christopher Priest, Joseph Illidge, Marco Turini and Jessica Kholinne.

Today, it is announced that Catalyst Prime, this exciting new superhero universe will premiere at Free Comic Book Day, in a one-shot special written by Christopher J. Priest (Deathstroke, Black Panther) and Joseph Phillip Illidge (Solarman), with art by Marco Turini (Legends of the Dark Knight, Secret Wars: Battleworld) and Jessica Kholinne (Secret Wars: Star-Lord & Kitty Pryde)!
A mission to save the world from a rapidly approaching asteroid changes the lives of five astronauts forever, and begins the rise of superhuman beings on Earth. The surprise ending will lay the groundwork for the entire Catalyst Prime line of comics in 2017 and beyond!
"Catalyst Prime is the superhero line the comic book industry needs" says writer/editor Joseph Phillip Illidge.
