Marvel Bumps Up Their "True Believers" $1 Spider-Man Reprints Ahead Of Spider-Man Homecoming
Spider-Man: Homecoming is out at the beginning of July. Starring my fellow Kingstonian Tom Holland.
And, alongside the likes of the launch of a new Peter Parker: Spectacular Spider-Man ongoing series in June, Marvel Comics are also releasing more of their "True Believers" line of titles modelled on Image Comics' "Image Firsts", with first issues of a series reprinted for a dollar.
And, out on the 28th of June, come True Believers reprints of Amazing Spider-Man #1 from 1963, Miles Morales: Spider-Man #1 reprinting the post-Secret Wars Spider-Man #1 from 2016 and the Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man #1 from 1976.
While on the 5th of July, they follow up with Amazing Fantasy Starring Spider-Man #1 reprinting the Spider-Man story from Amazing Fantasy #15 from 1962 and Spidey #6 from 2015, Spider-Man Brand New Day #1 reprinting material from Amazing Spider-Man #546 from 1999 and Spider-Man #1 reprinting Todd McFarlane's Spider-Man #1 from 1990.
Which should, hopefully, confuse everyone regarding which Spider-Man comic they should pick up after seeing the movie…
