Marvel Comics Promises that The Exterminated Won't Spoil Extermination #5
When the Ed Brisson and Pepe Larraz mini-series, Extermination was announced by Marvel Comics, dealing with the fate of the O5, the original five X-Men brought forward in time and messing up the timeline completely.
The final issue was meant to have been published on Wednesday on the back of one hell of a cliffhanger – but it's running late. And currently scheduled for December the 19th.
However the epilogue one-shot X-Men: The Exterminated is still scheduled for December the 5th.
As a result, Marvel Comics have told retailers who have asked that the events of Extermination #5 won't be spoiled by The Exterminated. Somehow. Well, I suppose, no more than Uncanny X-Men does with the five's notable but uncommented absence…
