No Miracles from Modern Medicine in Magnificent Ms. Marvel #6? [Preview]

It's only the sixth issue of Ms. Marvel's new ongoing series hitting stores this week, from Saladan Ahmed and Minkyu Jung, but things have all pretty much gone to hell, as we see in this preview of Magnificent Ms. Marvel #6.

Yeah, sure, Ms. Marvel and her family made it safely back from outer space, and she got a sweet new costume to boot…

…but there's some tradeoffs.

For one thing, her father now has a rare and incurable disease that will one day take his life, and despite all the magic and technology in the Marvel Universe, there is nothing anyone can do. Not even Marvel Universe Marianne Williamson.

And to make matters worse, it already seems to be affecting his memory.

But wait, how could it affect Kamala's mom's memory too? Hmm.

Magnificent Ms. Marvel #6 hits stores on Wednesday.
