It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia: This One's for You, Eagles Fans! (VIDEO)

When your show's called It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, it's pretty safe to say that you're going to end up wearing your love for "The City of Brotherly Love" on your sleeve…your back…pretty much everywhere. For the gang at Paddy's Pub – Charlie (Charlie Day), Mac (Rob McElhenney), Dee (Kaitlin Olson), Frank (Danny DeVito), and Dennis (Glenn Howerton) – that also means an almost unhealthy obsession with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Who can forget the third season's 'The Gang Gets Invincible'? As Mac, Dennis, and Dee competed to see who was Eagles-worthy (spoiler: none of them), Charlie and an LSD-laced Frank go tailgaiting. The results? The appearance of "Green Man," things get worse in a big way with the McPoyle family, and an introduction to a fake "Donovan McNabb" (Geoffrey Owens) – who would go on to become the fake "Tiger Woods."

But through all of that turmoil, what's the one thing that remained? Their love for "The Birds."

So as the "closing chapter" of the FXX's series' two-part celebration of the Philadelphia Eagles' Super Bowl win ('Charlie's Home Alone'/'The Gang Wins the Big Game'), the team behind It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia put together this very Sunny "ode" to Eagles fans everywhere

Here's a look back at the season-that-was before this week's season finale, as well as the official synopsis released to throw Sunny fans off the "Dennis scent" (which sounds disturbing on a ton of levels):

The Gang Returns… mostly…. in the 13th season of the FXX original comedy series It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Mac (Rob McElhenney), Charlie (Charlie Day), Dee (Kaitlin Olson) and Frank (Danny DeVito) return to their duplicitous, scheming ways at Paddy's Pub, while Dennis (Glenn Howerton) takes on the new role of father in North Dakota.

Even without Dennis Reynolds, the Gang has its hands full as Charlie hopes to have a child with The Waitress, Mac sets out to understand his newfound sexuality, Dee takes feminism to new heights, and Frank goes to great lengths for the Gang to experience the greatest moment in Philadelphia sports history – an Eagles Super Bowl victory.
