The seven new books making up the line are as follows – 7 Dragons, 7 Survivors, 7 Characters, 7 Pistoleros, 7 Clones, 7 Detectives and 7 Castaways. The French themed series of albums Seven (previously a subject of a Bleeding Cool Swipe File) is to have a second "season" from publishers Delcourt, conmmissioned by line editor David Chauvel, despite promising there would only ever be the first original collection of seven.
The original line was 7 Psychopathsby Fabien Vehlman and Sean Phillips, 7 Thieves by David Chauvel and Jerome Lereculey, 7 Pirates by Pascal Bertho and Tim McBurnie, 7 Missionaries by Alain Ayroles and Luigi Critone, 7 Warriors by Michael Le Galli and Francis Manapul, 7 Prisoners by Mathieu Habella and Patrick Tandlang and 7 Yakusa by Jean David Morvan and Takahashi Hikaru.
7 Clones will be written by Stéphane Louis and tells a futuristic space opera and high politics melodrama, concentrated on seven people joined by a mental bond based on their genetic history.
And just as last time with Sean Phillips and Francis Manapul, you may expect one or two English-speaking comics industry familiar names amongst the lineup…
