Over on the Comic Book Resources Spider-Man forum, a comic fan posted, regarding Dan Slott's work on the Amazing Spider-Man comic;

It is jus a paycheck for Slott anyway. He's not a real fan.

Which, as anyone who knows Dan in any small way, or even hears him talk on the topic for five minutes, is absolute nonsense. But sometimes you just have to hear it from the man himself.
