Mark Brooks "Hail Hydra"s For Bleeding Cool At The Dallas Comics Show
Brandon Wainerdi writes,
The Dallas Comic Show was this weekend and I took to the con floor for to figure out what the big news coming out of the Irving Convention Center was. Boasting a pretty impressive line-up, including DC Rebirth's Phil Jimenez and Betty and Veronica's Adam Hughes, as well as a small cost of admission (and, according to the flyer "No need for escalators), the third iteration of the Dallas Comic Show was its best yet.
Check out the brief below video interview with superstar artist Mark Brooks (Han Solo), who graciously took some time out of his con schedule to hint at a few upcoming projects (more Star Wars from Marvel?). As covered by Bleeding Cool the other day, he will be providing covers for all issues of Secret Empire, including the Free Comic Book Day #0 issue.
And, as always, here is the required picture of our combined con haul, including Bossk and Boba Fett commissions from Robert Wilson IV and Doom Patrol's Nick Derrington for our videographer's bounty hunter collection. It might be hard to tell we like Star Wars (including signatures from Marvel Star Wars colorist Laura Martin).
It was a great weekend in Dallas, reminding us how good comic conventions used to be … when they actually focused on comics.
