Speculator Corner: Marvel And Disney's Figment #1
Figment is a new Marvel comic book based on the Disney theme park character of the same name, and telling the origin stories of the theme park characters Dreamfinder and Figment. By Jim Zub and Felipe Andrade, it's very pretty.
Only thing is… some folk are having trouble finding a copy.
@zzgator @ProgressCityUSA @Marvel I'm still looking for a copy of Figment #1. Went to 5 comic book shops and could not find it.

@Tom_Bricker Did you get your Figment comic? I went to get one today and apparently they are a hot commodity. First print has sold out. — Adam Register (@AdamRegister) June 19, 2014
Though some have better luck.
Glad I pre ordered the new #Figment comic, they were already sold out! It will be fun reading it with the character voices in mind o^u^o — Stephanie Cassata (@sfcassata) June 14, 2014
Today I embark on a noble quest: to find #Figment No. 1. It involves going to @WDWDowntown. At least it's not Mount Doom. Or is it?…

Through the rains and two stores later, I finally spot the comic! #figment pic.twitter.com/5CnwrsZgnq

Possibly retailers didn't order enough? And maybe why all cover price copies have been snapped up on eBay and are now selling for $10 or more. And why a 1:50 retailer variant cover has sold for $250? How many retailers would have ordered 50 copies anyway?
Well… possibly smart ones. The book has now gone to a second printing… which should make it easier to find!
