Strip Magazine On Mars
Just as CLiNT Magazine runs round the news studios of the UK going "Me me me me me!" so upcoming newstand rival, the Bosnian-based STRIP Magazine is stepping up its associated projects.
First out of the blocks is the graphic novel The Iron Moon by Stephen Walsh and Keith Page, launching at upcoming Birmingham Comic Con, where the publisher, Print Media, with preview other upcoming graphic novels and the first issue of STRIP.
Iron Moon is a Victorian fin de siècle epic with the British empire colonising Mars, creating a new interplanetary wild frontier, and Lieutenant Charlotte Corday of the Royal Space Navy dealing with a conspiracy that could lead to interplanetary war.
Upcoming projects include The Quest by SMS, Age of Heroes by James Hudnall and John Ridgway and L'Heritage du Diable by Gastine & Felix. Further named creators include PJ Holden, Jim Campbell, Michael Penick, Jon Rusby, Dean Deckard, Nick Spender, Mauricet and Gary Caldwell.
And not a comedian amongst them. Not until the bar later, anyway.
