Weeks of high-level security on the production of The Dark Knight Rises came to a practical end over the past few days as filming has taken place in the city of Pittsburg in full view of the public. I've seen some mixed reactions to these photos but you have to remember that a) we don't know the complete context of what we're seeing yet, and b) they'll crank it up in post-production regardless. The Batman vs Bane fight is particularly interesting to see through the unpolished, candid lenses of the paparazzi.

The new issue of League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Century came out last week, and as the team reach 1969, we see the continual plans of Oliver Haddo, analogy for Aleister Crowley as he continues his lives, now using a fictional equivalent of the Rolling Stones and their performance in Hyde Park, here named after Mr Hyde. But these were my favourite references, reading through.

The Typos That Bind

Bleeding Cool does a fine line in typos. Fresh every day, delivered in time for breakfast, you can always rely on us for your regular "Collen Doran", a "Kity Pryd" or "Bill Sinkyvitch". And Marvel's Siege series last year was always a challenge. Up there with Rogue and Isaac Perlmutter. So we're glad to see that Marvel UK is having the same problem.
