Batman: Year One by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli originally appeared in Batman #404-407 in 1987 and subsequently became one of the most influential Batman stories ever told.

The animated movie features the voices of Ben McKenzie as Batman, Bryan Cranston as Lt. James Gordon, Eliza Dushku as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, and Katee Sackhoff as Detective Sarah Essen.

That's a good cast, but how close will they get to the Miller/Mazzucchelli original?  Let's find out…
