DoctorManhattanWatch: BBC America has announced that Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Steven Moffat will be in New York for the launch of the new season of Doctor Who on the 17th April. This will include a screening of first episode The Eleventh Hour ahead of transmission on the 14th April at 7pm at the Village East Cinema followed by a =Q&A with the threesome. When I watched the movie a while ago with a bunch of London media types they were universally laughing at the outrageous humour and violence but they are not the target audience for this type of movie which in my opinion is so obviously pitched younger.
