Tony Stark's Iron Marketing Machine

Tony Stark's Iron Marketing MachineOh you may think there are lots of Iron Man comics in the shop right now. More even than Deadpool comics. And more are on the way. But with the movie still a way off, you probably think you can live your life in an Iron Man-free bubble if you wanted to, right?

Wrong.

Marvel Studios and their marketing partners on Iron Man 2 are spending over $80,000,000 on advertising space alone with additional marketing spend to push it well over $100,000,000. Audi, LG Mobile, 7-Eleven, Dr. Pepper, Oracle and Burger King are just the start. Audi have five cars in the film and will buy TV spots on broadcast and cable channels to spotlight them – especially the alunch of the R8 Spyder driven by Stark.

Also look for LG Mobile phones, flat-screen TVs and other products from LG Electronics all over the place? Think Stark would use Apples? Not in this film.

Shame, that suitcase armour of his would have made a great iPad App.
