Zuda's "I Rule The Night" Returns To DC Comics

Zuda's "I Rule The Night" Returns To DC ComicsI Rule The Night by Kevin Colden was a Zuda comic. Remember Zuda? The free webcomic line developed by DC Comics using a competition commission formula, that was shut down as DC underwent a number of major changes.

A few titles escaped to other publishers. Some went to print. But others…. vanished.

Well here's one that's back. Still being published by DC Comics. Still digitally. But now you have to pay.

Not that much. A year after making the first three issues available, DC have released two further issues. The original first issue is free, the next four issues are 99 cents each. Mature readers only. Here's the synopsis…

Seven years ago, Brooklyn's only costumed vigilante THE NIGHT DEVIL died, leaving behind his young sidekick SHADOWBOY and their butler CARMINE to carry on his legacy of brutal justice. Years later, Shadowboy's life has fallen into disarray and only now is she finally beginning to understand why.

I wonder which Zuda titles will be next… or which new titles will pop out of DC Digital in time for NYCC?

Here's a little art and some pencils from issue 3 and 4.
