Shuri Gets a Rude Houseguest in Ironheart #9 [Preview]
Ironheart #9 hits stores this week from Marvel Comics, by Eve Ewing and Luciano Vecchio, and we've got a preview below.
The story this far is summed up in the recap page, with Riri searching for a portal to the Wellspring of Power before her enemies in the Ten Rings find it first.
And she reaches out for help from an old mentor, Tony Stark.
Stark manages to set up a visit to Wakanda…
…and Riri doesn't even have to deal with customs or airport security. It's a benefit of flying your own armor overseas instead of going commercial.
Riri wastes no time in heading to the royal palace, where she's greeted by Shuri…
Though Shuri is less than pleased with Riri's lack of decorum.
Hopefully these two can set aside matters of protocol to save the world and all. We'll find out when Ironheart #9 hits stores on Wednesday.
