Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Gets its First Blank Cover Variant for NCcomicon Oak City – and From Kevin Eastman and Ben Templesmith

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman is at NCcomicon Oak City this weekend, March 17th and 18th, with IDW.

And a special reprint of the first issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from IDW, in 1000 copy limited reprints with three new covers, one by Kevin Eastman, one by Ben Templesmith and the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles blank covers.

It seems an oddity but black cover comics have become a desirable thing, because collectors can get individual artists to draw one-off covers, on an actual comic book, ideally something that they have some relationship to. Making a comic a unique collector's item.

And now the Turtles are getting their first one.
