Hall of Fame
The fourth entrant to the BCA Hall of Fame will be Scottish comics legend and creator of Desperate Dan, Oor Wullie and The Broons, Dudley D. Watkins.
The show gave a presentation on Watkins and his life's work. I grew up reading some his classic work, though he died before I was born. But his Broons and Oor Wullie, his Desperate Dan and Lord Snooty lived on while I was a child in the form of reprints. And today he remains an influence on many, especially Frank Quitely.
You can view every eligible title submitted for this year's awards on the BCA Longlist 2014/15.
