Marvel owns The X-Men. But Fox owns the movie rights, indefinitely, thanks to the out-of-bankruptcy deal that's otherwise known as the worst deal Marvel ever made.

There are plans for an Inhumans movie. Playing the Inhumans much in the same way as Marvel played the X-Men as the outsider, the hunted, the bullied, the abused – one that fights back.
