Tom King Continues to Write What He Knows in Strange Adventures #1 [Preview]

Most of Tom King's work has a thematic consistency that would be the envy of a lot of writers. Or, another way of putting it, is that all of his books are about the same thing, his experience in the C.I.A. and dealing with issues from it.

Well, we're happy to say that King finally writes something different in Strange Adventures.

Yes, Strange is still dealing with the issues of coming home from a war and attempting to reconcile his experiences with a "normal" life.

But now he's also dealing with the hassles of being a successful writer.

So yes, Adam Strange is once again a stand-in for Tom King himself… but a Tom King who has grown from writing about his experiences… you know what, that's all pretty meta.
