Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter – The Top 5 Most Valuable Cards
We are diving back into the magic of the Disney Lorcana franchise and seeing which cards are at the top of the list for most valuable
The magic of Disney Lorcana is still going strong as we push into 2024 and look forward to Chapter 3 in a few months. While we are all patiently waiting for those new cards, we want to take the time to see what is hot and popping with The First Chapter. Since the arrival of The First Chapter, the intensity of the cards hunt has dropped, thanks to Ravensburger restocking shelves for the 2023 holiday. Currently, many The First Chapter (Chapter 1) booster packs can be found on shelves at stores like Walmart, Target, and even your local card shops. This is incredible as it allows more Disney fans to play, trade, and collect this astonishing card game with ease. However, even though these cards are easy to access, not all of them are easy to find, and that is where our Top 5 list comes in handy.
We have rounded up the five rarest and hottest Disney Lorcana cards in The First Chapter with current values. This list does not include the illusive Enchanted Rares, which have pull rates of roughly 1/100 booster packs or at least one card per sealed case (4 Booster Boxes). These values are based on Median Value with help from TCG Player to see the closest sales history. Keeping all that in mind, here are the current Top 5 Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter cards:
- Sleeping Beauty – Maleficent – Monsterous Dragon – $36
- Tangled – Rapunzel – Gifted with Healing – $31
- Hercules – Hades – Infernal Shemer – $17
- Beauty and the Beast – Belle – Strange But Special – $16
- Frozen II – Elsa – Spirit of Winter – $11
A lot of these values have dropped since launch, as Rapunzel was at one point worth $55, Elsa at $45, and Belle at $35. The Disney Princesses are some of the hottest cards in Disney Lorcana, and with their incredible artwork, it is no wonder why. Maleficent – Monstrous Dragon is at the top for a couple of reasons: she has a harder pull rate, her artwork is remarkable, and she can easily banish one card as soon as it is played. Rapunzel is always on the tail for the top The First Chapter card, too, as with her low ink requirement, healing ability, pull rate, and, of course, her magical artwork. If you are looking to complete your Disney Lorcana Chapter 1 set, then be sure not to overpay for any of these, and anything under is a steal!
