Michael Fassbender's Assassin's Creed Movie Getting Rewrite From Exodus Scribes
One rewrite down, and now here comes another. Deadline reports Adam Cooper and Bill Collage are the newest writers to take a crack at the long-gestating big screen adaptation of Assassin's Creed. The duo most recently wrote Ridley Scott's Exodus: Gods and Kings.
Michael Fassbender has long been attached to produce and star, presumably in the lead role of Desmond Miles, who is forced to relive his ancestor's bloody battles in historical times, from the Crusades to the Revolutionary War.
There's still no word yet on which version of the game the film's plot will be based on, nor is there yet a director attached, so it looks like Assassin's Creed is still a ways off from happening.
