Netflix's Castlevania Gets A New Poster That Looks Very Familiar
We got a trailer for Netflix anime adaptation of Castlevania the other day, but now we have a new poster. It comes to us from the Japanese magazine Famitsu and appears to be legitimate. The poster looks very similar to the original box art for the 1986 game, which is a great little homage to the original.
Summary: Inspired by the classic video game series, Castlevania is a dark medieval fantasy following the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepe himself. The animated series is from Frederator Studios, a Wow! Unlimited Media company, written by best-selling author and comic book icon Warren Ellis and executive produced by Warren Ellis, Kevin Kolde, Fred Seibert and Adi Shankar.
Right now the trailers are telling us a release date of July 7th, but we don't know whether that's going to be worldwide.
