"No Scripts For You," Say The Russos To The Avengers: Infinity War Cast
It seems that Dave Bautista isn't the only one that's going to be surprised by Avengers: Infinity War. Elizabeth Olsen was on The Late Night with Stephen Colbert last night to do some promo work for Wind River when Colbert mentioned that he always tries to get something out of Avengers cast members when they are on his show. It turns out Olsen has nothing to offer, because she also didn't get the entire script.
"This time, they actually decided to not give us scripts. They gave me my pages and then they explained other things that are happening…. I'll be so shocked and surprised. I'll be like 'Oh I see, that's what was happening to the world at that time.'"
So now we know, for sure, that Bautista, Olsen, and Tom Holland haven't seen the entire script. From what Olsen is saying it sounds like this might apply to the entire cast this time, but we won't know for sure unless more people come forward and admit they only got their pages.
This isn't an uncommon practice from movies that have highly secretive productions and Infinity War and Avengers 4 are the culmination of a decades worth of movies. It would make sense that they would want everything to stay a secret.
So, the Russo Brothers have declared "No scripts for you," to the Avengers: Infinity War cast, "Because spoilers."
