Blossoms Shanghai, the first Chinese TV series from auteur Wong Kar Wai, has all of his cinematic tricks & atmosphere but is a tedious bore.

The series will run for 30 episodes of around 50 minutes each, with the first four episodes out on December 27th – followed by two episodes per day with probably a two-day break each week until all of them are available to stream.

Parallel World is a Chinese Indiana Jones-style high adventure with the coolest heroine on TV giving off serious Lara Croft vibes.
That makes it unique amongst the current crop of C-Dramas, and possibly a milestone.
