I have attended comic signings before but this was my first with actual rules.
No more than four items would be signed.
Only Moore/O'Neill League of Extraordinary Gentleman items would be signed.

This article contains minor spoilers, but nothing that I believe spoils the comic book reading experience. It would be easy to be fooled by the
It would seem horrible to compare Watchmen #1 with Before Watchmen: Minutemen #1 But it's unavoidable I can't read this one issue without those twelve issues ringing in my ears So let's get it all out there.
1 From Watchmen To Mad Men
Watchmen ran without advertising, each issue becoming an artifact of its own, every aspect of it[...]

We ran a couple of Before Watchmen August issue covers last week But we didn't run this one for Ozymandias #2, with Jae Lee showing Ozymandias in a compromising position DC gave that one to Out Magazine Or course they did.In the original Watchmen series, the covers formed the very first panel of the comic,[...]
There now follows some randomish, vaguely connected thoughts about Before Watchmen.
"Did Alan Moore get screwed on his contract? Of course Lots of people get screwed, but we still have Spider-Man and lots of other heroes." – Joe Michael Straczynski. Before Watchmen author.
""Kirby got a shitty contract too, so get over it" isn't a great tag[...]
An utterly fascinating account of some DC editorial history caps off the week: "Shortly after the completion of the Watchmen series by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, DC's main editors went on retreat The retreatees included Karen Berger, Mike Gold, Denny O'Neil, Mike Carlin, and Andy Helfer The brain trust returned with three "sequels" to[...]

For everything that's been done for Watchmen from the books to the movie, money has gone his way The right amount that he deserves based on the contract So we have honored that part of the agreement It is something that can definitely be debated but to say that there is clearly one side that[...]
And for some, that is the very definition of a dream job.

Some people insist that Dan DiDio must sit upon a throne rimmed with the skulls of his enemies Instead, his office looks more like my teenage bedroom But larger.
