NXT Halloween Havoc Week 1 Preview: Becky Lynch Defends Her Title
Our preview for tonight's NXT Halloween Havoc on USA Network, where Becky Lynch defends the NXT Women's Title against Lyra Valkyria.
It's Halloween time again, kiddos! While the actual unholiest of unholy days is next week, WWE and NXT are too into the holiday spirit and have taken their annual WCW homage-paying event, Halloween Havoc, and have stretched it into two nights with a week between them, meaning next week's show will be on actual Halloween. Isn't that neat? But we have to get to tonight's half of the event first, and luckily for the ratings-minded folks at the USA Network, it's being headlined by one of WWE's biggest stars in a title defense.
WWE Raw superstar Becky Lynch will be trick-or-treating down in Florida tonight dressed as the NXT Women's Champion when she faces another Irish star in the making, Lyra Valkyria, to defend her title. Let's see what WWE.com has to say about tonight's Halloween Havoc title match.
The Man will defend the NXT Women's Championship against her friend, ally, and fellow Irish Superstar, Lyra Valkyria.
The relationship between Lynch and Valkyria is strong as the two defeated Kiana James and Tiffany Stratton in tag team action just two weeks ago.
Valkyria won a Triple Threat Match last week against Stratton and Indi Hartwell to earn the honor, and on that same night, she made it known how Lynch has positively impacted her life and career.
Be sure to tune in to Week One of a special two-week Halloween Havoc on Oct. 24 and Oct. 31 at 8/7 C on USA!
Along with that, NXT has also scared up Tony D'Angelo & Stacks defending the NXT Tag Team Titles against Chase U, Gigi Dolin taking on Blair Davenport in a Lights Out Match, Roxanne Perez battling Kiana James in a Devil's Playground Match, and we will see the NXT debut of the man formerly known as Brian Pillman Jr., who will now be known as Lexis King.
To see all of the spooky action, tune in to NXT Halloween Havoc tonight at 8 p.m. on the USA Network.
