Talking of strange worlds, what about the Wowio boat? They were having a party with a free bar last night – it seems such a disconnect from only months when they were having diffiulty paying so many. And their Comic Con activity has been estimated as well into the six figures. Well, I suppose you can't take new venture capital with you.
It is one of those places where magic happens. I saw a book deal being arranged with a prominent comics creator on another boat party last night that took about three minutes and left on a handshake. Just before the fireworks started.
And now the day has begun. And the line outside the show is probably the biggest I've seen. Probably visible from space. I'll try to get into the Bendis/Waid showdown at ten… should be fun…
