Sin City Movie Producer Sued Over Frank Miller And Todd McFarlane Original Artwork
Stephen L'Heureux of Solipsist Films is a movie producer with Sin City: A Dame To Kill For amongst his credits.
But it's not that link with Frank Miller that has popped up today.
Instead, he is being sued by art dealer Michael Burkey over three pieces of comic book art, that Berkely claims he sold to L'Herureux. In a case filed with the Superior Court Of California
Frank Miller's Marvel Spotlight #8 cover, for $16,000.
Incredible Hulk #258 cover by Frank Miller and Al Milgrom for $16,000.
And Spider-Man #3 cover by Todd McFarlane for $52,000.
Burkey claims that they had an oral agreement, Berkley sent the art but did not receive repayment. Earlier in the year he offered L'Heureux the opportunity to return all or some of the artwork and for the debt to be wiped without interest, but claims there was no response.
Hence the lawsuit. This is of course, only one side of the story. Stephen L'Heureux has declined to comment at this time.
