Wonder Woman AOC Variant Cover to Sell For Over $2000 – So Far

There are still five days to go on the eBay listing we ran on Bleeding Cool the other day. At that point the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez & The Freedom Force: New Party, Who Dis? #1 variant cover for NY Collector Cave featuring ACO in the garb of Wonder Woman had bids of over $1,000. Now that has doubled, with 11 bids taking it up to $2,025. So far.

Last week, Bleeding Cool broke the story that DC Comics had sent a cease-and-desist notice to Devil's Due Publishing and the NY Collector Cave over this retailer exclusive variant cover. The story got picked up across the media, including Fox News, and a speculator feeding frenzy ensued on those copies that made it out before the C&D was imposed. And a limited run of 250 copies became even more limited.
