Barnes & Noble Exclusives Strike Again – DC Has 4 New Hardcovers and Titan Comics Joins In

Just last month Bleeding Cool reported on the start of Barnes & Nobles efforts to sell more DC graphic novels (or DC to get Barnes & Nobles to sell more of their graphic novels, who knows where this ouroboros starts…) by doing exclusive editions of a few of their upcoming hardcover graphic novels.

These exclusives include Batman Damned HC, Batman Who Laughs HC, and coming Tuesday, October 29th, Wonder Woman Volume 1 The Just War HC. Which we'll show some of that content here (including the sketch pages and a few script pages):

Well now we have four new exclusive Hardcovers coming, following each other week after week almost, in November, and probably trying to get some Christmas shopping interest:

First, on November 12, 2019, SUPERMAN: YEAR ONE (B&N Exclusive Edition)

This Barnes & Noble Exclusive Edition includes an exclusive lithograph and pencils of the first issue.

This Barnes & Noble exclusive edition includes has a variant cover and 16 bonus pages, including a script to art feature, an interview with the writers, a brief history of Blade Runner, and an unpublished concept drawing.

So apparently the upcoming Black Label releases from DC will all get Barnes & Nobles exclusives, lithographs seem to be the main thing for each edition, and we can expect to see a lot more of these DC exclusive hardcovers as we enter 2020. Though which other companies will start doing them? We've got DC, Image, and Titan Comics so far…
